LA Dodgers World Series Bound

Story back dated from October 2018.
Well, my prediction of the Milwaukee Brewers forcing a game 7 against the Los Angeles Dodgers came true, but my prediction of the Brewers winning that game 7 did not. The Dodgers beat the Brewers 5-1 in Milwaukee to take the series four games to three. My wife and I were actually in Los Angeles on Saturday when LA took the series in route to play the Boston Red Sox in this years World Series. We were having dinner at a local establishment there with every TV turned to the game. When starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw turned relief to finish out the game pitched the last out, the establishment went crazy. To me being a sports fan this was surreal. What a great feeling for all the LA Dodgers fans there that night. Hopefully I will have that same feeling soon for my Atlanta Braves.

So just like I did for the Boston Red Sox when they beat the Houston Astros to capture the 2018 American League pennant on their way to the World Series… I have to also congratulate the Los Angeles Dodgers on the 2018 National League pennant. I mean they did beat my Atlanta Braves in the divisional series out of the best of five games 3-1 games.

Now I know that this blog post is a few days late, but the Red Sox already hold a 2-0 lead on the LA Dodgers with game three taking place tomorrow in Los Angeles as today is a travel day. The Red Sox do look like they are taking control of this series, but anything can happen. As I close this post, since my team is not playing in this year’s World Series, I’m a die hard baseball fan with a casual approach to this series hoping for a good rest of the series…may the best team win. I know who the best team is, but will they win?
