My Sports Bucket List

Now hear me out, there are many fans that want to go to different sporting venues, which is all well and good, and that would be awesome. My next away baseball stadium that I would like to go see would be Wrigley Field in Chicago to see the Braves play the Cubs. Other than going to see the Braves at Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium, Turner Field, and now SunTrust Park, the only baseball stadium I saw a game in was historic Fenway Park in September 2014 when the Boston Red Sox hosted the Tampa Rays. Wow was a site that stadium is. So the next stadium I want to go see is Wrigley Field. The only NFL stadiums I have ever been to was the Georgia Dome and Mercedes Benz Stadium to see my beloved Atlanta Falcons play many games. I have also been to Athens, GA and Sanford Stadium to see my Georgia Bulldogs play one game and many G-Day games. All that is great!!!

But my all time sports bucket list is to go to Canton, OH to the Pro Football Hall of Fame and Cooperstown, NY to the MLB Hall of Fame. As I write this we are one week in to the 2019 college football season and week one was a great week one. It is also game week for game one of the NFL season. This time of season is so awesome for me because of football starting up and the cool fall nights that are right around the corner. But it is equally special for me this year because not only is it football time of year, but the Atlanta Braves are contenders to go into the 2019 MLB playoffs as they hold a 86-54 record in the NL East and are in first place up 7 games on the Washington Nationals as I write this. In previous years, baseball would slow down when football picks up, but not this year as I hope the Braves go deep in the playoffs playing in October.

But back to my all time bucket list. The NFL Hall of Fame in Canton, OH and the baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. This is a sports fans dream to go see and read about players such as Ted Williams, Babe Ruth, Joe DiMaggio in baseball and Jim Kelly, Joe Montana, Dan Marino almong so many other players in both sports. The history of both Hall of Fame’s are nothing short of awesome. People are people and they are just like me, and breathe like me. But these talents are rare and are a God given ability when used to their fullest. Maybe one day I will write about this bucket list and check mark that off of my list.
