I know this is my sports site, but I am also a proud American that loves God, family, and country. With America’s past time gearing up to play ball later this month, it makes me happy to think there is nothing better than celebrating America’s freedom with a baseball game. No, there will not be games on Saturday, but baseball is back in the air. My twitter feed is blowing up with up-to-date baseball stories again.
America is in troubled times right now, and it saddens me to think that there are some people in this great nation that 1, doesn’t respect our flag, and 2, doesn’t respect the ground that they walk on. All I know is the good guys win in the end.
So for everyone that appreciates this country and the liberties that we have that other nations do not have, from Kirkley Sports Korner, HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!!!!
