Why is it that when something good happens to an Atlanta sports team, some prominent sports figure has to trash all around it. Last week agent Scott Boras said the only reason why the Braves won the World Series is because other teams wanted to take, traded away players for draft picks. Well, isn’t that what happens in all sports in order to get better? When teams realize they are not going anywhere that season they try to unload players for draft picks. The Braves GM Alex Anthopolous just pulled the right trigger in the deals and all four players meshed well with this years team, and it carried them to the top and a World Series trophy for the 2021 season. Boras just wants to stir up trouble, or maybe it’s because no player on the active Braves roster employs him as their agent. It could also be the Braves beat his beloved Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Championship. Though he is the agent of minor leaguer traveler Touki Toussaint and minor leaguer up and comer catcher Ryan Langerhans. I think Hall of Famer and former Braves third baseman said it best.

Chipper sums it up best. Guess Boras has to rain on the Braves parade…well he didn’t and he can’t take that trophy away from the Braves and their fans.
